We began our farm with a few Santa Gertrudis cows which had been allowed to run with one of the vendor’s bulls for a few weeks.

The original matriarch of our herd was Rosie who on the 17 March 2011 gave birth to the most beautiful little girl, Primrose.  You can see them here.

Rosie left us some time ago but Primrose – an adorable (if gigantic) creature who is always looking for an apple and loves to have her head scratched – is now in charge of our herd.
